On How to Actually Make It Happen
Sharon has been a busy single mum doing an incredible job of juggling work & raising her beautiful daughter.
Before having her, Sharon had a fabulous career modelling for the likes of Vivienne Westwood and was even a winner on The Clothes Show Live on
She Then Decided to Take Her Creative Skills & Work Behind the Scenes as a Makeup Artist for London Catwalks & Fashion Shows.
After having her daughter she then set up her her own cleaning business to fit around school runs and family life and just as all was going so well, the pandemic had severely effected her business and left her unable to go into her customers homes to clean.
So instead of feeling sad, she made the biggest investment into her new future and for almost 12 months has waiting for her training been going between “if others can then I can do this too”, to “this might not work for me” and “what if I fail?”.
Despite Her Hesitations She Bravely Showed Up Anyway
It was such a buzz this week in the office when Sharon was here, she was able to see at first hand the students that she had been following, call up to tell us about their latest successes and award wins and nominations.
She saw all their journeys and achievements coming true right here and right at the moment she was about to start on her own path to her dreams and ambitions.
Sharon like so many was over analysing and overthinking things..
Setting Up a Successful Business, Following Your Dreams and Creating Your Own Happiness is Like Creating a Cake…
If you over analyse & break it down too much you may lose the flavour and the essence of what you’re trying to create.
Think about eating a delicious fairy cake versus ingesting one ingredient at a time
A Fairy cake has a very distinct and perfect texture & flavour that would be completely lost if you took a bite of sugar, then 1 bite of flour and 1 bite of butter and likewise, whilst breaking your dreams down, it’s important not to get lost in the details and like Sharon just trust your decisions & trust the process.
