It Was a Pleasure to Have Back the Lovely Lisa Who I Trained Last Year From Devon.
Lisa was a stay at home mum to 4 for the last 10 years, getting back into the working world was a bit of a challenge and adjustment (although she did mention that working as a permanent makeup artist was a little easier than staying home).
I can definitely relate now after all of the lockdowns.
Lisa also is a scalp tattooist who works on cancer and alopecia patients tattooing very realistic looking hairlines for people who have no hair… she’s very talented!!

It was an amazing treat of a HUGE hamper from Fortnum and Masons… It was full of fine wines and incredible champagnes with a beautiful headed Thank you note from one of my dream clients who I’ve been treating for more than 10 years.
So unexpected and what an amazing way to start my day. (Thank you so much Lynette, there was absolutely no need at all, it is always my pleasure to make you feel better ❤️🩹).
It Then Got Us Swiftly Back Onto the Subject of Dream Clients and How to Reach Them.
Lisa’s marketing over the last year had been little hit and miss… it seemed that the marketing she outsourced to experts and paid a lot for fell completely flat whilst the marketing she did herself for free attracted lots and lots of clients.
That didn’t surprise me at all.
“Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don't know which half.”
That’s a famous quote from John Wanamaker, a successful U.S businessman who’s also considered to be a “pioneer in marketing”
It was so easy to see which half of Lisa’s marketing was working, today was all about learning why. I know because I was having the same problem myself when I first started.
That Was Until I Stumbled Upon the Magic of Emotional Branding.
It was revisiting the part that was working. We dove into the whole process of creating emotional branding and I showed her the power of storytelling.
Once I learned I could in fact infuse my passion into my work and tell people about it, I fell in love with the business side and it completely transformed my life.
It was super fun & I could have spent all day with Lisa on this subject but the dream clients were pouring in like no ones business and couldn’t get enough as they were booking in for everything in the coming weeks too.
I Just Re-introduced Her to Her Masterclass & Marketing Material That She Already Had Access to and Had Almost Forgotten That She Had.
Everything I teach today through our 2 year mentorship and masterclass is rooted in emotional branding & story telling.
The two elements that fit together perfectly hand in hand. It’s where all of the most incredible businesses are created.

No one else has your story, your passion or your vision & this is why it’s crucial that you take the time to do your ‘dream client work’.
When you are doing your dream client work, you want to figure out:
The pain or struggles your clients are facing
The obstacles stopping them
The pleasures they want to experience
Their desires and goals that they have
What makes them excited about permanent makeup
What makes them frustrated and stressed
Knowing these will help you create a presence that speaks clearly and emotionally to your people.
At the End of the Day, All People Want to Be Seen, Heard and Understood and Speaking to Those Pain and Pleasure Points Through Your Work Will Do Just That.
