Exciting News! Katy Jobbins Shortlisted for Three National Industry Awards

I’m incredibly excited (and a little overwhelmed!) to share some wonderful news…

I’ve just been shortlisted for three national industry awards:

🏆 Semi Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year
🏆 Training Centre of Excellence
🏆 Entrepreneur of the Year

It’s a real honour to be recognised alongside so many talented people in our industry, and it gave me a moment to stop and reflect on just how far this journey has come.

From Knocking on Doors to Training Nearly 1,000 Students

Twenty years ago, I was knocking on doors offering nail treatments, simply hoping someone would give me a chance.

Back then, I never imagined that one day I would go on to build an award-winning permanent makeup academy, train nearly 1,000 students, help thousands of treatment clients, appear on television and receive national recognition for doing what I love.

Every student, every client and every challenge has helped shape the academy we have today, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey.

Why This Matters

Awards are always lovely to receive, but what means the most to me is the impact our students go on to make.

Many arrive with no beauty background at all. Some are nurses, mums, beauty therapists or people simply looking for a fresh start. Watching them build successful businesses, gain confidence and create a life they love is still the greatest reward.
