We are delighted to announce that for the second year running, our founder and head trainer at The Permanent Makeup Training Academy, Katy Jobbins has been named as a Top 4 Finalist in the ‘Mentor of the Year’ Category at the 2019 East Sussex Women in Business Awards.
Katy who not only trains new and experienced students in the art of Permanent Makeup at her multi award winning training academy in West Sussex, also knows the importance of ongoing help and support. Her willingness to share her skills, knowledge, and expertise is also one of the reasons why so many of her past students have gone on to great business success, with many of them going on to win their own awards.
Katy who is regularly praised for her positive attitude, enthusiasm for her craft and acts as a positive role model for all those who train with her, takes pride in having a personal interest in the mentoring relationship with each and every one of her students.
Refusing to go down the route that most other training centres have done in her industry who hold courses with multiple students per trainer, per class, Katy exclusively trains every student on a 1 to 1 basis, ensuring they get 100% of her attention 100% of the time. Training students from different backgrounds, with different skillsets, who all have different goals and ambitions, means that 1 to 1 training is essential to give them the best chance of success.
All this coupled with unlimited ongoing support & advice and her ability to give honest and direct feedback, means that she really does provide the full training experience and ongoing mentorship support.

Actress Rachel Fielding, who only last year starred in a film that won an Oscar, will be there to host the black tie event which will be held at the Glamorous Cavendish Hotel in Eastbourne on the 19th of July.
