Everyone I Train is Utterly Unique
ALL of them have an equal opportunity to develop their own talents and creativity.
Upon arrival the lovely Kirsty was doubting herself. Stay at home mum for the last 7 years and worked in a supermarket before she had her cute little children.
Although Kirsty is in a fortunate position where she does not have to work because her husband has a great business, she really misses the challenge of putting her mind to something, enjoying conversation with adults and seeing a smile on a customers face.
Kirsty Didn’t Know Much About Permanent Makeup at All
Her lovely husband had seen first hand what a difference we’ve made by training and mentoring stay at home mums and so many people from completely different industries.
He told her that he believed she could set up a successful business in this field, so with that one encouraging person in her corner, she booked the training.
It was a long time ago and it came around so quickly. Much quicker than she had expected.
Kirsty Told Me When She Came in That She Had Absolutely No Natural Artistic Flair or Creativity at All
So… we started on the hardest technique first and within just a few hours she was doing it all by herself, completely free hand with absolutely no guidelines to follow.
That’s kind of a big deal. Something I don’t expect technicians to be able to do for at least a year or two after working on people.
In My Opinion She Was Extremely Talented.
Extreme talent is brilliant but not a guarantee to success. She now needs to go away and show everyone what she’s capable of, to get as many names on her list of models as possible. What truly decides success is someone’s passion, drive and consistency over time.
We also covered other exciting things like marketing, branding, business names and clinic set up as well as all of the health and safety guidelines.
It was such a joy to see Kirsty’s confidence in herself grow as she realised she was really good at something.
She Also Treated Herself to Some Beautiful and Natural Permanent Makeup by Myself
Something to show all of her potential clients how realistic the work can look if it’s done well.
Well done Kirsty for stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something completely different. Practice lots for live model training and have a wonderful Xmas with the family.
I’ll look forward to having you back in the New year for so much more. xx
