In Fact, There is No Competition I Told Linda.
The only competition you’ll ever have to worry about is that with yourself I lovingly explained.
Creating the inner discipline to get up each and every day, even when you don’t feel like it. To put on your absolute favourite heels and lipstick and face the inner critic. To work diligently behind the business, telling yourself that you can get your dreams even if partly you believe it’s not possible.
Everyone on This Planet is Having This Little Internal Battle About Whether or Not They’re as Good as the Rest.
It’s up to you to make sure that you are the very best you can be. That’s all you can control.
So when things get you down, keep showing up, double down on your efforts and know that it’s not about being the best…
It’s about being the ONLY.
And then get to work on building your dreams
When I initially trained Linda months ago she was worried about absolutely everything that could go wrong. She went home and took my advice to simply practice daily until she came back.
Yesterday when she returned with her little list of worries we simply decided not to entertain them for a minute.
In fact, I made certain that she had no time to worry. Clients poured in every hour on the hour with all kinds of important reasons for permanent makeup. From just about every walk of life, utterly unique and beautiful in their own way.
Every Time Linda Had Another Worry Another Client Rocked Up.
So many corrections of permanent makeup from elsewhere and each one was thrilled and left wanting more.
I was so, so happy to see how Linda’s confidence in herself grew & grew as they all saw their new reflections.
There’s more than enough clients out there for everyone.
Linda you focus on the basics, double down on your efforts and do everything to get it right & you’ll never worry about the “competition” again.
When I asked an exhausted Linda at the end of training today if she had any further worries her reply delighted me… “non whatsoever”.
Yay.
I look forward to seeing a nice calm and confident Linda again in just a few months for her assessment. Xx
