Fast forward just over a year and she’s now a busy permanent makeup technician and ‘now the clients are flowing.’
In a few great bits of advice
she says:
‘When you leave it’s not just going to come to you. You need to make sure you are putting in the effort and putting yourself out there and making sure you are heard.’
AND …
‘It’s finding yourself and what works for you, but also don’t get distracted from what your taught…You have to trust the process.’
Earning more now in a week than she used to in a month, she says it’s ‘Crazy’.
Like many people who set up a new business in permanent makeup, Lori-Ann also loves her new flexible career which works well around herself, her kids and gives her the option to pick and choose when she works.
She also said she was able to enjoy the…‘Independence, a little bit more financial security for my family as well as the finer things in life.’
One final and empowering bit of advice from Lori-Ann was…
‘I think it’s important that if you’re not happy, you need to make them changes in life and do what makes you happy. You’re not hurting anybody, you are literally following a passion.’
