Tattooist, Palliative Cancer Care Specialist, Artist, Mum of 3 and All Round Creative Genius Collette….
Big talent and even bigger heart.
Before having her 3 children Collette worked in film set design. Although she loved it, film sets required her to work 16+ hrs days, were not sustainable & not family friendly (but not so many can say the worked on the likes of Harry Potter and so many other fantastic films).
So she settled into a career as a tattoo artist, whilst volunteering to help palliative care patients…
This Was Supposed to Be Temporary but 7 Years Later She Was Employed There.
Throughout the pandemic especially her heart kept her in palliative care, for many years more than she had anticipated…
That was until she learned that she could combine all of her most favourite aspects of her rich career history into one.

So She Did a Lot of Research Over 12 Months ...
… seeking out the best training in permanent makeup and she ended up with me… and I’m so glad she did!
Training such a knowledgeable tattooist is always a little unsettling. I have to make sure I get a good nights sleep and I’m at the top of my game. I double down on my technical skills, needle & skin knowledge and colour theory, all whilst working at their super speedy expert learning pace.
But then it’s also more effortless. They don’t have the blind spots of a brand new technician, who haven’t quite got the right questions in their head yet.
Tattooists have a hundred and one right questions. They are also eager to learn the secrets of how tattooing the face varies so much from tattooing bodies.
In Fact, It’s a Completely Different Kettle of Fish.
And now she knows.
It has been fantastic fun and I can’t wait for Collette to come back in 2 months for live models.
So time to return home and nail down the techniques. Even with her extensive tattooing experience she’ll practice like crazy on prosthetic skins ready for making beautiful people even more beautiful
