And this is exactly why Ellen decided to train in permanent makeup… a semi retirement plan if you like. A way to wind down whilst also levelling up at the exact same time.
It’s always a complete honour & (also a little nerve wracking for me) when someone so brilliant… a beauty college lecturer with over 30 years experience flies all the way from Inverness to come here for 1 to 1 training.
The Pressure is On
I need to make extra sure I’m on top of my game and brushed up on my knowledge.
Ellen wants to cut down on the more time consuming and labour intensive treatments such as massage to make more time to spend with her adorable grandchildren.
She also wants to give back to some of her wonderful and loyal clients who are having their own battles with cancer and she will be creating some amazing natural looking brows for them whilst they’re undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
She Still Lectures Part Time at College Whilst Running Her Own Successful Clinic From Home Specialising in Electrolysis.
Ellen Is absolutely inundated with permanent makeup clients already and after watching her over the last couple of months it’s easy to see why they gravitate to her.
Her energy is fantastic and her enthusiasm is contagious. She never moans and is so happy and grateful. She just loves her work of making people look and feel amazing.
I Told Her About My Strict “good Vibes Only Policy”, About Only Accepting Happy Money From Clients Who Seek Out the Experts
She totally gets it and will be putting a very similar policy in place as she scales back her crazy hours to make way for a high end skill.
Every client so far this week has booked brows, eyes and lips once they saw the mirror. Ellen also had her own brows and lips done whilst she was here too and that’s part of why she got mobbed with clients.
They all saw how natural her brows looked. We received a wonderful email from a client we worked on 6 months ago to express her gratitude, it’s why we love this job so much.
The beauty industry is not all rainbows and unicorns… but a good amount of time it actually is.
She Already Has Her Fab Clinic and is Currently Renovating Ready to Introduce Permanent Makeup Treatments.
She’s got lots of people waiting and everyone is just so excited to book in with her… she will not disappoint.
