This Training Was Actually Her Husbands Idea
He saw our one to one training one day and knew Edwina would be perfect for it.
Edwina is a specialist A&E respiratory nurse. She’s done this for many years and like so many nurses that I’ve trained in the past, has reached a bit of burnout.
This year she has decided to stop worrying about what anyone else thinks and start going after what brings her the most joy in life.
For many years she’d been toying with the idea of training in aesthetics, such as Botox and fillers but it didn’t fuel her passion in the same way as permanent makeup.

They each chipped in and bought her a range of permanent makeup practice skins to wish her luck on her new venture.
I agree with Edwina that it’s hard to put yourself out there, but on the other side of that risk is the most exciting change.
I used to tell myself that “If you don’t try then you can’t fail. If you don’t put yourself out there you can’t fall short or disappoint anyone.”
Changing What You’ve Always Done is Not Conventional
Get used to being a minority in the beginning, not everyone thinks it’s going to work.
We laughed as I explained to my client who also runs her own business and to Edwina how Paul and all of my friends & family lovingly tried to talk me out of spending so much to learn a rediculous skill like “tattooing someone’s face”… “I just don’t think you’ll get any clients” they said…
Now it seems one of my biggest problems in business is where I’m going to find the space to fit them all in!
You Have to Trust Your Own Instincts When You Start a Business & Have the Courage to Put Yourself Out There
Even those i’ve spoken to over the years that stayed in their comfort zone & lived comfortably their whole lives …there’s a nagging sense that more was possible.
It’s scary to not be perfect at something immediately. So many hate the loss of control that comes with starting fresh, that’s why a lot of people stay with what they know.
Taking an unconventional path and being yourself. I’m so glad you felt you could be yourself whilst you were here.

This week we’ve had the worlds most beautiful clients in, age range from 20 up to 75. All booked in for more once they’d seen their new reflections. Permanent makeup is such an effective way for them to look like themselves, only prettier and much more confident.
Our last client of the day came because she saw how beautiful her sisters eyebrows were as she was preparing to lose her hair after cancer treatment. We created some equally fantastic brows for her and then this morning we had an answerphone message from her friend saying “I’m going to need mine too as the work looks so incredible”.
