A Second Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination at Just

For the second year running, our founder and head trainer, Katy Jobbins has been shortlisted for the ETC Hair and Beauty Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

The ETC Hair & Beauty Awards aim to provide a platform to recognise, reward and celebrate the talent within the hair and beauty sector. This Years Glittering Ceremony will be held at Fontwell Race Course, and hosted by Gina Akers ITV’s Beauty Expert, TV Presenter and Beauty Writer.

Katy has also been shortlisted for the 2016 ‘Training Centre of Excellence Award’ which is to reward and recognise those who train the future stars within the industry. An establishment or individual which can demonstrate effective delivery of their courses and training with a focus on ensuring their students always achieve and realise their full potential. ‘It’s amazing to see that my hard work and love for what I do is being recognized yet again. I love empowering my students to becoming the best they can be, and once again the results that both my students and my training centre has had over the last 12 months has exceeded everything I could have imagined.

Seeing my own students winning awards and being voted the best of the best, to them enhancing so many ladies lives with the results of the permanent makeup treatments they offer, always puts a smile on my face.

It’s great to see them achieve their own dreams both in feeling happy and excited about what they do and having the financial security that comes with the being good at the job. Add the freedom and flexibility working as a permanent makeup technician can bring, it’s no wonder l love teaching so many people this new way of life & enhance so many career paths.

On a personal note I know I may be very young for a lifetime achievement nomination, but it goes to show what you can achieve when you love what you do and the improvements you can make to an industry, no matter what you age.”
