I say that because you will become confident at anything in the world by absolutely knowing your stuff.
Knowledge of what you’re doing and practicing over and over until you can not fail.
But even if you were to just “act confident”, without that strong foundational knowledge underpinning your work, you wouldn’t be able to pull it off.

Confidence is a closed feedback loop too. It grows when things go very well for you, I tell my students not to change their technique with every client, to instead hone their skill by using the same methods over and over again until they my achieve perfect accuracy.
