I Promise That Some of the Brightest People in the World Have Difficulty Reading and Writing.
…& I also promise that there are always ways around your obstacles.
Gemma was utterly terrified on the lead up to her training that she would fail… She built up the confidence to finally book her 1 to 1 course and then talked herself out of it daily.
Worried that she might not be able to read the medical conditions or complete her studies. It was such a joy to see how she totally broke through the imaginary ceiling she placed on herself and accepted this could in fact, be her super power.
There Are So Many Hidden Gifts in Dyslexia, ADHD & OCD There is No Such Thing as “normal”, We’re All Somewhere on the Spectrum.
The dyslexic memory is especially brilliant at mechanical, technical and design related problems, the brain is generally larger than the typical brain, making it highly skilled in recognising patterns in images and step by step sequence, techniques & pictures.
This lends itself perfectly to tattooing peoples faces with precision and symmetry. Dyslexics are more curious than the average Jo, they think mostly in pictures instead of words. They are a highly intuitive and insightful bunch of people.
They Think and Perceive Multi-dimensionally Using All Their Senses. They Have Extremely Vivid Imaginations.
These abilities, if not suppressed or invalidated by their educational process or by those closest manifest as two characteristics:
Higher than normal intelligence, and extraordinary creative abilities and I genuinely found that Gemma had BOTH.
Although talent alone means nothing when it’s not backed up by hard work, Gemma has proven her abilities in business. She’s been running her own beauty business for the last 22 years…
Utterly Loves Detailed Art Work, Her Dad Does All of Her Accounts to Help Out.
It came as no surprise to me at all that she was instantly brilliant at these techniques.
Gemma on the other hand was shocked at how quickly and easily she could pick up the skill despite what she felt were “major hurdles”.
The true gift of dyslexia can emerge & develop in many ways and in across so many creative and entrepreneurial areas.
For Albert Einstein it was physics; For Richard Branson it was entrepreneurial; for Walt Disney, it was art; for Greg Louganis, it was athletic prowess, the inspirational list goes on and on.
She’s Ambidextrous and Can Do Perfect Permanent Makeup With Either Hand. It’s the First Time I’ve Ever Seen It!
Her parents are so proud of what she has achieved so far & want to see her succeed in something she’s really passionate about, they are her biggest advocates and number 1 supporters.
We put away her textbook which was full of postIt notes and pictures and just talked about the theory side, all the medical stuff that was bothering her. She clearly had a great understanding of the essentials.
Everything we cover in all of our training manuals are provided in simple video format for her to make her own notes and watch over as many times as she so pleases.
Have More Faith in Your Talent Gemma.
I’m so excited to see her space come together as she is adding the finishing touches to her garden clinic. She has lots of clients already forming a queue as they know too well what she’s capable of.
It’s been an absolute joy Gemma and I have loved every minute of training you.
I have no doubt you will enjoy it, surprise & delight your clients and succeed in exactly the same way as your nail business…. it’s in your nature.
