Choose a trainer who specialises in EXACTLY what you want to learn!
If the company you are looking to train with has multiple trainers around the country, you will need to find out if they all train in exactly the same way.
Many technicians have completely different styles of working and teaching so you will need to research the background of the trainer that they are going to use for your course. This will enable you to see if their main skill set matches what you are looking to achieve.
Check Out The Trainers Portfolio & Career History…
Ask if you can have a look at their individual portfolios and career history. Remember, as impressive as it sounds that they are the “Top Harley Street areola reconstruction specialist”, if all you want to do is offer beautiful eyebrows, eyeliner & lips in your local area then this trainer may not be suitable to you and your individual needs.
Select A Trainer That Practices In The Field You Want To Learn…
Always choose a niche specialist trainer specific to your needs. The more niche or specific they are in their field, the better they are likely to be at what they do & how they train you.
Learn To Walk Before You Try to Run …
You may be tempted by the prospect of learning as many techniques at once, however, the likely hood is that you will settle on the beauty side or the medical side. Just be careful not to select a training course that tries to offer too many specialist techniques all at the same time. You can always train in other specialty areas once you have your skillset up to speed and are well established.
At the Permanent Makeup Training Academy, you will be trained 1 on 1 by Katy Jobbins who is an Industry Award Winning Head Trainer and practicing technician in Permanent Eyebrows, Lips, Eyeliner & Lashes.
