Paul Bate has been named ‘Business Personality of the Year’ at a Major Business Awards Night at the Hilton London Gatwick Hotel.
Paul Bate, runs Permanent Success Ltd, a company that helps people in the permanent makeup industry grow and expand their businesses. His unique 3 day permanent makeup business and marketing masterclass, has been so successful it sells out for up to 3 years in advance. As a result has had to produce an online version for technicians to study at home.
He also mentors many of the students that attend The Permanent Makeup Training Academy’s ‘Complete Permanent Makeup Start-up Course’, helping and advising them on setting up in the industry and the best ways to attract clients to grow a sustainable and successful business.
On top of that his company is the first of its kind to offer bespoke websites exclusively for permanent makeup technicians, which are designed to both attract clients and showcase technicians work in the best possible light.
At The Awards Event …
Around 300 guests attended the 2015 Sussex Business Matters Awards glittering ceremony, which was hosted by BBC One Show & Channel 5’s Presenter Nick Wallis.
In Paul’s fiercely competitive category he was up against many other high profile business personalities across the Sussex Region, including the manager of the London Hilton Hotel, where the actual awards were being held on the night.
Around 10pm that night Paul was announced the overall winner of the ‘Business Personality of the Year’ Award, with the judges coming to a unanimous decision stating:
‘Paul’s uniqueness and business personality shone through. Showing clear entrepreneurial talent from the age of 10 when he began selling lemonade at the local village green leading on to him being able to purchase his first car at the age of 17 at the expense of a packet of crisps and a can of coke. His out of the box marketing ideas and inventiveness coupled with his success in helping others grow and expand their own businesses & careers in the beauty industry that he now specializes in made him our clear outright winner.”
On winning the award Paul said:
“I am really excited to have won this award especially as there were many other people nominated for it and each of them would have been worthy winners.
This is recognition of my hard work and dedication to helping others over the last 10 years to grow and expand their businesses and being a positive influence in their lives.’
