Something That You Feel Truly Passionate About. For Me It’s Giving Confidence and Joy Through Beauty.
Stacey entered my crazy busy world of permanent makeup, not always as glamorous as it seems in our pics.
Although I dress up like everyday is the best day of my life, treat my workplace like it’s a runway, and it seems like we’re forever eating chocolates and drinking tea, the reality it that we barely stop for a minute.
Stacey had been warned by one of my other wonderful students Michelle
that I make this look easy, I must admit it’s true.
Practice Makes Perfect and I’m a Firm Believer That Anyone Can Create Their Own Future
We can map it out for ourselves and what we think and do will start giving it shape straight away.
There is nothing that you cannot modify, change or improve if you put in the groundwork behind the scenes to perfect your skill. Do that and one day tattooing someone’s face starts to feel normal.
I can’t ever promise this job will be easy, but with lots of hard work it can be so so rewarding.
Over the Last 48hrs, We Worked on Beautiful Strong Women Who Had Overcome Their Battle With Cancer
Not once but several times. What a joy and a privilege to be able to restore someone’s confidence after many rounds of chemotherapy which had played havoc with their eyebrows.
We worked on another fabulous client who’d had a car accident many years ago and we were able to add more symmetry despite some scar tissue.
We colour corrected & covered old brows done somewhere else with a newly beautiful soft powdered brow and eyeliner – much more natural and in line with how the client wears her pencil.
And we worked on a regular client having a yearly colour boost (who has been having her permanent makeup done by myself and many students over the last 14 years).
There’s Been a Lot to Take in & I’m Sure I’ve Overwhelmed and Overloaded the Lovely Stacey but She’ll Be Fab After She’s Had a Couple of Days to Absorb Everything
My advice to anyone starting a permanent makeup business is to start gradually, have a good vibes only policy with your clients, focus only on that one person in front of you and how you can improve their life. Then practice like crazy in-between until it becomes as second nature as writing.
And know this. Hard work, consistency and practice ALWAYS pays off, not instantly but eventually.
Relax and enjoy a well deserved glass of wine & I’ll look forward to seeing your first few clients and having you back in a couple of months for more.
